Purpose and Current Wish List

Happy Holidays!!!!

This year The Stork Project is collecting new underwear, socks, and warm winter pajamas for children birth to size 8 from Monday November 27th to Sunday December 10th.

These items can be donated via bins at the Hollis Social Library (Monument Square) and Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center (30 Ash Street, Hollis).

Follow The Stork Project on Facebook for the most current information.

The Stork Project is a New Hampshire nonprofit corporation with a 501 (c) 3 designation from the IRS. It is also registered with the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.  No overhead costs are paid for out of donations.  100% of every dollar is used to benefit babies in need.

NH Chronicle followed The Stork Project for a day.  Watch the video to see how all the many donors and social workers deliver for new moms.

God doesn’t bless you so you can be greedy; He blesses you so you can be generous. You give away, and God gives back to you so you can give more away and he can give more back to you and on and on and on. God doesn’t give you things so you can pile them up. When you let go of what’s in your hand, it’s now empty to receive greater blessings from God.

PURPOSE:

The Stork Project provides Welcome Bundles that are given to low income new moms by New Hampshire Social Workers. The Social Workers have an established relationship with the mom and the Welcome Bundle is a gift for the new baby.  Each Welcome Bundle contains 10-15 of gently worn items of clothing, suitable for a boy or girl, along with booties, hats, socks, and bibs. The items are wrapped in a new blanket or quilt that is made especially for the baby by Project Linus or other organizations that knit, quilt and crochet. The clothing is donated by parents, grandparents and others who showered their babies with love. When the Welcome Bundle is opened all the love contained in the clothes washes over the new mother and her baby.  Currently Welcome Bundles are given out by Social Workers at:
